Sardar Patel Memorial Museum

Dedicated to great freedom fighter Vallabhbhai Patel, the museum is located within the vicinity of Shahibaugh in Ahmedabad. Also known as Moti Shahi Mehal, the museum houses Patel Memorial on the ground floor covering central hall and four adjacent rooms.

You can have a view of several portraits of Patel, his family, friends and colleagues with biographic description of periods of his life and quotes by his admirers. Two of the four rooms house Patel's personal possessions and displays accounts of cartoons from the newspaper of the time.

Another important attraction in the museum is the National Flag, created by Indian National Congress in 1930 -1931. On the first floor, there is famous Tagore memorial dedicated to great Indian poet, Rabindra Nath Tagore.Visit this museum to have an insight of life of great leaders in India.
