Sabarmati

Well known place in Ahmedabad, Sabarmati is a well planned area in Northern block of the city. This place is bordered by Sabarmati River on one side and railway line on the other side while National Highway No. 8A divides it into two parts.

This place has its own railway station with some residential colonies like Tribhovan, Shitalkunj, Ramnagar, Marudhar and Shubhlaxmi. It has an excellent network of roads with some well laid parks like Tulsibaug.

Adalaj Vav is an important tourist destination located here, along National Highway. For the admirers of Cinema, Roshini and Kamal are two movie theaters here. Gujarat Stadium at the northern end of this place hosts various sporting events which are attended by hordes of people.
